Vikram Sawant is the Managing Partner at Studio Talk (Division of Pinstripe Zebras). He is a former broadcast journalist with more than 25 years of extensive experience in Print, Radio and News Television in India and the United States. Vikram was part of TIMES NOW’s core team and was closely involved in day-to-day editorial responsibilities which included setting the news agenda for the day. Over his six years at Times Now, Vikram has been credited with several acclaim winning News Reports, Documentaries and special programming. Vikram started his career as a journalist with Mid-Day Publications in 1989 and has extensively covered the city’s turbulent times during the Mumbai riots and the subsequent serial blasts. In 1993, he set up one of Mumbai’s first FM radio stations - Radio Mid-Day. Vikram then moved to New York in 1995 where he had a successful career in News TV with Eye On Asia TV Network; in strategic communication & PR with Arthur Domingo Communications and network sales with ABC Radio International. As a communication specialist, Vikram has been advising corporate India in various capacities for more than a decade, specializing in strategic communication and media training among other key areas of brand building and communication.
Mahrukh Inayet is the Managing Partner at Studio Talk (Division of Pinstripe Zebras). She is also a prime-Time TV Anchor and senior broadcast journalist who led the newsroom at Times Now as Senior Editor and Headlines Today as Editor-At-Large and then as Roving Editor. As a journalist, Mahrukh’s 72-hr non-stop reportage from outside the Taj Hotel during 26/11 earned her much acclaim and was appreciated as an example of unbiased coverage of the Mumbai terror strike. She was the last Indian journalist to interview Benazir Bhutto before the assassination of the former Pakistani Prime Minister. Mahrukh has reported extensively on national politics with special focus on the Kashmir imbroglio. She has interviewed Narendra Modi, Omar Abdullah, Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Arvind Kejriwal among other celebrities. She has won several awards for her work including the J&K Govt’s award for Outstanding Achievement as a Media Personality 2009. After her Masters in Broadcast Journalism from American University, Washington D.C, Mahrukh went on to complete her fellowship at Georgetown Leadership Seminar at Georgetown University, Washington D.C, and subsequently the Organising, Leadership And Action Program at Kennedy School, Harvard University, USA.
